Canada has increased the Immigration processing fee effective from 30 April 2020.
Canada’s Immigration authority has announced that they are increasing the processing fee for all permanent residence immigration programme, the fees that foreign nationals pay include operational, processing and service delivery costs.

The new regulations come into effect on April 30, at 9 a.m. EDT. The completed application received before April 30 will be processed as per the current fee structure. Application received from April 30 onwards must be submitted with the revised fee schedule else will be returned to the applicant as incomplete.

Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has not increased the permanent residence since 2002.The fees for Permanent residency application are expected to revise again after 2 years based on the applicable Consumer Price Index increase rounded to the nearest $5.

The permanent resident cards, permanent resident travel documents and certification or replacement immigration documents will be processed as per the current fee structure only no revision of fees.
